American savoury pancakes

For 8 pancakes

Cooking time: 20 min

  • 25g of butter
  • 300g of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 200g of whole wheat flour
  • 10g of baking powder
  • 1/2 cac of salt

PREPARATION

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder.
  • Add the milk, mix well.
  • Stir in the eggs and mix again.
  • Melt the butter.
  • Pour the melted butter over the pancake batter and whisk vigorously to obtain a homogeneous preparation.
  • Butter a non-stick pan (ideally a pancake pan) and place on high heat.
  • When hot, pour a small ladle of pancake batter.
  • Cook until small bubbles appear on the surface of the pancake. Slide a spatula under the pancake, turn it over and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Serve pancakes with fried eggs, grilled bacon, pan-fried mushrooms and guacamole-crushed avocado.
