Chocolate Iced Stars

For 50 biscuits

  • 1tsp yeast
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
  • 80g sugar
  • 1 tbsp liquid cream
  • 1 egg
  • 125g butter
  • For the icing : icing sugar, unsweetened cocoa and a little water

PREPARATION

  • Place flour, yeast, cocoa, sugar, cream and egg in the bowl of robot and rotate it.

  • Add the butter and continue kneading until a ball of dough is formed.

  • Wrap on contact and place in a cool place for 2h.
  • Low the dough with a roll and cut out stars using a cookie cutter.
  • Place the stars on a plate covered with parchment paper or on a silpat and cook for about 10 minutes in the oven at 160 ° C.
  • Let chill on a rack.
  • In a bowl, mix about 150g icing sugar with a tbsp of cocoa.
  • Add water, little by little to obtain a frosting easy to spread.
  • Frost then the chocolate stars, with a spoon or a small spatula.

  • Let the icing harden a few hours before placing the chocolate stars in a metal box.
