Vanille Kipferl

For 30 Vanille Kipferl

Preparation time: 10 min, cooking time: 15 min

  • 120g soft butter
  • 60g sugar
  • 1/2 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g ground blanched almonds
  • 100g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 3 tbsp icing sugar or granulated sugar.

PREPARATION

  • Mix the soft butter.
  • Add the sagard, salt, egg and milk. Mix until obtaining a clear mixture.

  • Add the vanilla extract, the almond powder, flour and baking powder.

  • Mix rapidly.
  • Preheat oven on 180°C.
  • Fill the buttered mould with the mixture and place on a baking plate.
  • Smooth with a spatula.

  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool in the mould for 10 minutes and take out the biscuits gently from the mould.

  • Dip the biscuits still warm in the granulated sugar. If you are using icing sugar wait a bit until the biscuits are completely cold before dipping in icing sugar.
