Raw cacao bars

For 10 bars

Preparation time: 10 min, Refrigeration time: 1 hour minimum

  • 2 cups medjool dates
  • 1 cup blanched almonds
  • 1/2 cup non salted cashew nuts
  • 2 tbsp Iswari raw cacao
  • 2 tbsp liquid vanilla
  • Coating: 100g chocolate at 70%, Cacao nibs Iswari, some almonds

PREPARATION

  • Put the ingredients in the bol of a mixer.

  • Mix until the mixture is well agglomerated and all the ingredients roughly chopped.

  • Place the mixture on a plate covered wrapping paper on 1 cm thick layer.

  • Wrap and place in the fridge at least one hour.
  • Take out the mixture from the fridge and cut in 10 bars of equal size.

  • Place again in the fridge.
  • Melt the chocolate.
  • Take out the bars from the fridge and cover with the melted chocolate.
  • Place some almonds and cacao nibs on the chocolate still warm and let cool in the fridge.

  • Keep your bars in the fridge.
