Frangipane cake (without butter)
For 8 parts Preparation time: 5 min, cooking time: 20 min to 25 min

of apple sauce

g
of sugar

g
of ground almonds

eggs

tbsp rum
optional

1
tsp bitter almond

Flaked almonds and icing sugar

Mix all ingredients vigorously (except the flaked almonds and icing sugar) in a salad bowl and that's it!

Pour into a dish with the bottom covered with a greaseproof paper disc to facilitate un molding.

Note: use a dish about 21 cm in diameter, bigger the cake is thinner the cake will be or you will need to double the quantities.

Sprinkle with flaked almonds.

Bake 20 to 25 min in an oven preheated to 200 degrees C.

Remove from oven and let cool before unmold.

Take out of the mold and let cool completely on a grid.

Sprinkle with icing sugar.
